The Challenge
Every budgeting app on the market forces you into its own methodology, and most of them assume one person is doing the budgeting. Forekala needed to work for a whole household with different people, different incomes, and different habits, without pushing anyone into a system they would abandon in a month. It also had to earn enough trust to ask people to connect a bank account.
The Approach
We built the product around flexibility rather than a fixed method: budgets you shape yourself, smart categories that learn, shared household accounts, and bank sync that stays reliable. An AI assistant sits on top to explain where the money actually went. Alongside the product we built the marketing site, with dedicated pricing and security pages so the trust question gets answered before anyone is asked to link an account.
The Outcome
Forekala launched as a working product with a free tier, live bank connections, and a site that carries the story from landing page to signup. The security page in particular does real work, giving cautious users somewhere to go instead of bouncing.
